TAG

Interactive & smart

ITT TAG are the endpoint devices of the ITT ecosystem, providing the direct connection between the physical world and the RTLS infrastructure. Designed for reliable people and asset tracking, they operate within the proprietary Dual-Range Positioning System, combining short-range precision with wide-area localization to deliver accurate entry/exit validation and real-time positioning across large operational environments.

Featuring ultra-low power consumption, rechargeable batteries, integrated E-paper display, built-in buttons, RGB LEDs, buzzers, and vibration feedback, ITT TAG are intelligent communication devices
rather than simple identification tools.

They can transmit information, receive commands, generate events,
and actively participate in operational workflows.

Typical applications include:

Advanced features such as tag orientation or Man-Down detection, emergency alerts, personnel identification, and bidirectional communication make them ideal for industrial, maritime, and other high-risk applications. Through the ITT WAYPOINT infrastructure, TAG communicate with the ITT SOFTWARE SUITE, enabling real-time localization, monitoring, event management, safety procedures, and user interaction.

LOCATION

The ITT system tracks people and assets in real time within complex environments. It uses dual-range technology (long-range UHF and short-range LF) combined with a patented algorithm that eliminates metallic interference. The infrastructure is simple, scalable, and based on flexible Waypoint locators, which can be installed using wireless links, RS-485 wired bus, or a single PoE Ethernet cable.

MAN-DOWN

The 4th Generation ITT system protects lone workers in confined spaces via automatic fall and immobility detection, bidirectional communication TAG equipped with an e-paper display and an SOS button. This ensures compliance with safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/2008 and Presidential Decree 177/2011) and may help organizations qualify for reduced insurance premiums.

SECURITY

The system ensures confidentiality and GDPR compliance by securing all radio and Edge-to-Cloud data with 128-bit AES encryption. To protect privacy, personnel identity and location appear on control room displays  only during actual emergencies, and access to the control platform is strictly restricted based on user roles.
